Kiln Firing
Access to a way to fire ceramics is an annoying hurdle when working with clay.
As long as your work is thinner than 1.5 inches and airpocket free we would love to fire it. Sadly we only accept drop offs at the moment. But once here it will be treated with care and safely fired. The price varies slightly based on the cone fired in. So a softball sized piece would be cone 022 is roughly $_ and cone 10 is $_. The price is calulated on a case by case basis so please contact us if you have any questions.
A bulk discount will also be taken into consideration. The larger the project the larger the discount. Basically the more pieces the higher the discount i.e. the closer the kiln is to a full load the better.
Our kiln is a Skutt 822 named Val Kilner, the shelf space inside is roughly 19in tall with a 15in diameter
